TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PLEASE NOTE ALL BOOKING FEES ONCE PAID ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

 

Booking Period

  1. When booking a Ceremony an allotment of 90 minutes is scheduled

  2. Celebrant will attend 30 minutes prior to the scheduled ceremony time

  3. Celebrant will remain for up to 1 hour post Ceremony time

  4. More than 1 booking can be made in 1 day and Sharon is my Celebrant will advise if there is a Ceremony booked before or after your booking

  5. If in the event you are late and your event does not start on time, Sharon is my Celebrant reserves the right to leave without completing the service to attend the following booking on time.

  6. If in the instance I did leave, Sharon is my Celebrant would return after completion to perform your ceremony.

Fee Policy

  1. All advertised prices are subject to change without notice.

  2. Confirmation of fees will be provided for approval and signature of couple which secures prices.

  3. In the case that a ceremony is postponed/cancelled, the schedule of fees may become null and void and price increase may be incurred.

  4. A non-refundable booking fee of $160 must be paid to confirm a Celebrant Service

  5. A non-refundable booking fee of $250 must be paid to confirm a Celebrant / MC combined package

  6. A non-refundable booking fee of 30% of total price, must be paid to confirm an All Inclusive Package

  7. Full payment is due 14 days prior to the event date

  8. Method of Payment - Payment can be made by direct deposit into the following account:

Date Change Policy – Ceremony & MC

  1. Postponement by couple – Sharon is my Celebrant is happy to change to available dates to suit the client’s needs, with more than 3 months notice prior to the Ceremony Date. If you postpone within the 3 month window before the Ceremony Date, an additional admin fee of $250 may be required, unless Sharon confirms a new booking to replace your original date.

  2. Notice of Intention to Marry is current for 18 months – if the change of date exceeds this period, new NION will need to be completed. This needs to be completed allowing for the one month minimum requirement.

  3. The booking fee will transfer over to the new date.

  4. For all events, the Couple will be responsible for all other costs involved with postponement including ceremony venue. A new schedule of fees may be required to increase in costs during this time.

  5. If celebrant is unavailable on the proposed new date, no refund will be made, but another great celebrant will be recommended.

  6. NOIM will be transferred to the new Celebrant within the BDM online system

 

Date Change Policy – All Inclusive Packages

  1. Postponement by couple – Please talk to Sharon directly about terms and conditions regarding postponing of All Inclusive Packages.

Cancellation Policy – Ceremony & MC

  1. In the event of cancellation of the ceremony or MC Package, no later than 30 days prior to the event, any funds (except the non-refundable booking fee) paid by the couple will be refunded in full.

  2. In the case of non-refundable options, these unfortunately cannot be refunded.

  3. If the couple wish to reschedule a ceremony date, and the celebrant is not available on that date, no monies will be refunded, but the celebrant will be obligated to transfer any legal paperwork to the new celebrant.

 

Cancellation Policy – All Inclusive Packages

  1. Cancellation by couple - should the booking be cancelled 3 months or more prior to the booked date, you will receive a full refund of any payments made minus the non-refundable booking fee.

  2. Cancellation by the couple within 3 months of the event date incur the loss of the non-refundable booking fee and an additional admin fee of $250 will be charged for work completed to date and to compensate suppliers for their loss of booking for that date.

  3. In the case of non-refundable options, these unfortunately cannot be refunded.

 

Cancellation by Celebrant

  1. Prior to 30 days before - In the event that the celebrant is unable to attend a ceremony – on the date of event booked - 100% of funds paid by the couple will be refunded, including booking fee

  2. Within 30 days of the event - A top shelf Replacement Celebrant will be organised by Sharon is my Celebrant to step in at no extra charge.

 

Travel & Accommodation Costs

  1. Additional travel costs will be quoted once venue is confirmed and will be charged at the discretion of the Celebrant.

  2. If air travel is required, the Couple will be responsible entirely for Celebrants reasonable air travel costs. Air travel will be booked in consultation with the Couple. All travel costs are included in quote provided.

  3. In the event that the timing of the event and/or venue of the event requires the Celebrant to book suitable accommodation close to the venue, the Couple will be responsible for the Celebrant's suitable accommodation costs.

Media & Photography

Due to the type of event, Photographs & Video is common.

  1. We agree to Sharon Campbell taking photos or videos of us on her mobile phone                                           

  2. We give permission for Sharon Campbell to use photos of us in a professional capacity on Social Media Platforms such as Facebook, Instagram & her website.         

  3. We give permission for our professional Photographers / Videographers to share photos of our day with ‘Sharon Campbell – Sharon is my Celebrant’ for the purpose of promoting her business on social media and on her website

  4. We give permission to share Photos and Videos to suppliers who may have participated in creating your event for the purpose of promoting their business on social media and their website.     

 

Agreement

  1. We acknowledge the fees and policy conditions relating to our event and agree to make full payment as required.

  2. If changes occur, we agree to contact our celebrant as soon as possible to negotiate a new statement of fees.

  3. We agree that if the balance of fees are not paid by the required due date as detailed above, the Celebrant is not obliged to perform our ceremony.

*SPECIAL NOTE - Any bookings confirmed after June 1 2020 will receive no refund if cancelling or rescheduling the wedding is due to Coronavirus restrictions. However, ‘Sharon is my Celebrant’ will offer dates to reschedule and or perform an elopement style ceremony allowing you to enter into Marriage as planned
